Samsung Galaxy A72 (OnLeaks)News

Samsung Galaxy A72 will be equipped with a 64MP main camera

Samsung’s next A-series Galaxy smartphone could be the Galaxy A72. This smartphone has been spotted on leaks and reports quite frequently now. The latest leak suggests that the Galaxy A72 will feature a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera.

The Galaxy A72 is rumored to feature a penta-camera setup, making it a first for a Samsung phone. But it seems that rumor is not true, and the Galaxy A72 will have four rear cameras, according to a report from the Galaxy Club. The main 64-megapixel sensor will be accompanied by a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

The report adds that the Galaxy A72 will be offered in 4G and 5G variants. Leaked smartphone renders show a punch hole camera, a glass back, and an aluminum frame. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille at the bottom. The Galaxy A72 is also expected to have a 6.7-inch flat screen.

Samsung is planning other Galaxy A series smartphones, including the Galaxy A32 and Galaxy A52. These two smartphones are also said to support 5G. Samsung will most likely launch the new Galaxy A-series smartphones in January if we stick to its usual schedule. Samsung has also scheduled the launch of the Galaxy S21 series for January 14. The flagship series will include Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Looks like we’ll be seeing a number of new Samsung phones in a few weeks.
